Haudecœur: a responsible strategy for sustainable development

Haudecœur's CSR commitment: a responsible and sustainable approach

Since our founding in 1932, our mission has been to travel the world, unite cultures, and celebrate the culinary riches of the globe. But this adventure only has meaning if it is carried out with respect for people and our environment.

Through this Purpose Manifesto , we affirm our commitment to taking concrete action on today's environmental, social and economic challenges.

  • Implementation of a responsible purchasing charter, in collaboration with our suppliers, ensuring that social, environmental and ethical criteria are integrated into our procurement processes.
  • Reduction of our carbon footprint which we measure and manage each year, through logistics optimisation and work on packaging recyclability and waste sorting.
  • Participating in the CMA CGM ACT+ programme to reduce the environmental impact of our container shipments through alternative fuels , including second-generation biofuels.
  • Tackling food waste through partnerships with local food redistribution charities.
  • Building lasting partnerships with NGOs including Toutes à l'École in Cambodia, to which we donate 36 tonnes of rice each year.
  • Improving quality of life at work : each year, Haudecœur conducts an employee survey to assess satisfaction, identify areas for improvement and enhance workplace wellbeing.

Convinced that the importance of living well together has never been more central to our society, and that cuisine fosters the meeting of cultures, Haudecœur has defined its purpose as:

Sharing and passing on the diversity of our culinary cultures to grow together sustainably

This purpose guides everything we do and reflects our determination to create lasting value for our employees, partners, customers and future generations.
